Lewis's unfounded dogmatic belief that "Airbourne," the vitamin C boosting fizzy alka seltzer style pill that boosts your immune system, has put him on the moded sick bed. Me (postelwait) and him went on a business trip in las vegas, where he began to feel symptoms. i began to feel symptoms as well a couple days later, leading me to believe that he gave me the same cold. As soon as i began feeling symptoms, i took airbourne, a medicine that he has always said is a 'placebo.' That, and one dose of dayquil (I gave Lewis a dose of dayquil as well), is all i've taken. All I can say is he's been fighting this cold a couple days longer than I have, but here I am at work, and he just went home, obviously not past the worst of it. moded! » original news

We were discussing the intricate maneuvers of the crane kick as seen in the Karate Kid. Nate demonstrated his version of how that went by kicking with the same leg that he stood on in the beginning, AND landing on that same leg.
To Nate's credit, it would make sense that the karate kid perform the kick in this fashion because the whole premise is that the evil black suited/ninja/bully/surfer/foreigner-listening (hot blooded!)/punk injured the karate kid by performing an illegal arabian step-out, and then a suicide-front leg grab that is only seen in the most extreme martial arts arenas. He then proceeded to drunken-donkey boxing techniques, planting his elbow in the karate kid's supple knee joint, rendering that leg useless. It WOULD make sense that the karate kid would not use that leg at all... however...
Nate is moded because he was so sure about how the karate kid used the legendary crane kick. But then Lewis looked it up on youtube.com and found that the karate kid in fact lands on his non-kicking leg.
I don't think we would have made such a big deal about it, but it was funny that Nate was so sure, and even called me, the moder, a sad small man before all evidence came to light. moded! » original news

So we looked it up in the urban dictionary - 22 thumbs-ups for moted, no thumbs-up for moated (they thought it had midieval roots) and 72 thumbs-ups moded.
